The 80KArt Studio

Surviving images I have of digital Artworks I created from 1989 to 1996 using a Truevision Advanced Raster Graphics Adapter (TARGA) board from Truevision (now part of Avid Technology). Targa (.tga) is the native format of TARGA and VISTA boards, the first graphic cards for IBM PC compatibles to support high color or true color display. My system was a Windows DOS 386 Gateway Computer, 40 MB HD 5.5 floppy drive.

These are the surviving images I have from works I created on a Commodore 64 between 1985 to 1991. These are screen grabs from NTSC video.

Commodore 64, also known as the C64, was an 8-bit home computer introduced in January 1982. From 1983–1986 the C64 had between 30% and 40% share of the US market outselling IBM PC compatibles, the Apple II, and Atari 8-bit computers.
